Stacks and Stacks of French Toast

Breakfast. October 17, 2010 8:07 A.M.

Opted for something quick and easy, yet still delicious, this morning. Classic French toast. Perfect fit for this cool and rainy fall morning.

Stacks and Stack of French Toast This Morning

INGREDIENTS:

4 Large Eggs

1 Tablespoon  Cooking Oil

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

2 Tablespoons 2% or Whole Milk

4 Slices of French Bread (or a nice, hearty bread with thick crust)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Beat eggs in pie pan (or other shallow and wide container) until smooth and egg whites no longer slimey. (Not sure if Slimey is spelt right. Can’t find it on dictionairy.com).

2. Mix in milk, cooking oil and vanilla.

3. Dip  bread in egg mixture and place on griddle or frying pan (make sure to grease pan or griddle with oil or Pam if necessary).

4. Cook each side until golden brown.

McCann, of course, never eats breakfast (or any meal for that matter). He always finds something more worthy to do with his time. (His older brother Brandon also finds more appropriate things to do with his time. He is still in bed.)
