House Guests, Ethan and Andrew

Day of activities. October 19, 2010. 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

We are watching our friends Ethan and Andrew today while their mom is out-of-town. It has been a fun day. First thing we did was build a compost bin.

We ate grilled cheese sandwiches and homemade tomato soup for lunch (all though Andrew is not a fan of tomato soup).

After lunch we made chocolate raspberry shakes.

After lunch we played bingo and looked at toy catalogs. Time to get our lists ready for Santa.

We went to Trafalga and saw a 4D movie and played glow in the dark miniature golf.

Once we picked up Lily and Ethan from school, they played starfall.com on the computer.

Since dad only allows so much time on the computer or TV (that creep) the kids stomped around in the back yard while dad hauled and spread dirt under the plumb tree.

Oh, and Ethan loves Bop It. He is trying VERY hard to get to a score of a 100.

  1. You were just supposed to babysit them! It wasn’t their birthdays!

Next time I am coming along.

    You all are the best.

  2. [Me again, logged in as you.] I love this new blog. I really love the tag line (“A crazy family in a somewhat quiet neighborhood”). And I love you.

P.S. I’m glad our tree is plumb. 🙂
