Bet You Can’t Guess How Many Ornaments We Broke While Decorating Our Christmas Tree.

We decided to repeat last year. A flocked tree with colored lights.

Every year we have our bird's nest.

And our pine cone.

We always top the tree with Fauneil's favorite angel that she bought at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.

We ran Emma twice today. So all she wanted to do, while we were decorating, was lay down.

The kids over loaded some of the branches. (Photo by Brandon).

UPDATE: McCann woke up this morning to a winter wonderland outside. He said, “Oh my gosh! The whole world is flocked-ed.”

  1. You know, I bet not having the tree on a tile floor would reduce the broken ornaments by half! But that is a gorgeous friggin tree!

    • Ha! Love your comment. You are too funny.

True about the carpet, but I love my terra cotta floor. I would break all my ornaments to keep it.

Thanks for the compliments on the tree. We love it.
