2 bunches of romaine lettuce
1 medium sized red onion
Avocado, peeled and cut into slices (I didn’t have any, so I skipped it this time)
Sliced seasoned almonds (I didn’t have any of these, either, so I skipped them too)
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
Chop and rinse your lettuce, then set it aside.
Cut the skin off of your oranges. Do NOT peel. They are juicier this way.
Now, cut them into cubes and set them aside.
Peel your red onion, then cut it in half, then cut into thin strips like so, then set aside.
In a 2 cup liquid measuring cup or bowl, mix 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard, 1/2 cup oil, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt,and 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
Now mix it all up in a bowl, and eat, eat, eat!
